Steps

  • HeatIn a saucepan, combine the milk, water and vanilla and bring to a boil.

  • In a bowl,mixMix the Yumgo Cream Powder with the sugar using a whisk.

  • Pour a little of the hot mixturein the bowl to loosen the mixture, whisk, then pour everything back into the saucepan.

  • Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, mixing regularly to obtain a smooth texture.

  • Transfer the creamin a container and leavechill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  • Before using it,whisk lightlythe cream to restore its supple and smooth texture.

Tips for making perfect crème anglaise (classic or vegan version)

  • Flavor your custardaccording to your desires: vanilla, chocolate, coffee, spices… Easily personalize it to adapt it to your homemade desserts.
  • Avoid using an acidic productinstead of milk, as this may alter the texture and stability of the cream.
  • If you opt for aplant-based versionchoose aplant-based milk rich in calcium, with a content equivalent to that of cow's milk (approximately120 mg of calcium per 100 g).
  • A plant-based milk that is lower in calcium will give aCustard, more liquid and less firm.
