ABOUT YUMGO
Yumgo is a plant-based range designed to replace eggs, replicating their technical properties (binding, emulsifying, whipping, providing structure) in cooking and baking.
Unlike "homemade" substitutes, Yumgo always delivers consistent results!
To replace eggs, Yumgo offers a specific range of plant-based alternatives (Whole, White, Yolk, Omelette, Ready-to-use Mixes: Quiche, Pancakes, Cookies ...) that integrate directly into your existing recipes.
Yumgo has a neutral taste profile that preserves the original flavor of recipes.
In the vast majority of cases, the difference is very difficult to perceive after cooking ;)
For omelets, after investigation, we decided to keep this neutral taste to satisfy people who don't like the taste of egg, but you can easily get it back by adding a pinch of kala namak salt!
No, 100% for ingredients to use in cooking. All Yumgo products are 100% plant-based and animal-friendly.
Yumgo Whole, Omelette, White and Yolk products do not contain any of the 14 major allergens (neither gluten, nor soy...)
Cookie and pancake mixes contain GLUTEN. But we are actively working on developing gluten-free mixes! 🍪🥞
Yes, because Yumgo is a real source of plant-based protein! Perfectly suited for a healthy diet.
The proteins used (fava bean, mung bean, pea, potato, rapeseed) are selected for their high nutritional quality.
Yes! Yumgo White even has a higher whipping power than classic hen's eggs. Simply mix the powder with water, then beat the mixture until stiff for 5 minutes.
Yumgo powdered products can be stored for 18 months after production (before opening) in a dry place at room temperature.
This simplifies storage, avoids waste, and secures your supplies in the face of regular egg market shortages.
No. Yumgo prioritizes short, clean ingredient lists, free from controversial additives.
Proteins are extracted using gentle mechanical processes (grinding and air classification), without the use of chemical solvents.
Yes, for Yumgo Whole or Yolk, you can use a plant-based milk.
For Yumgo White, you can use fruit purées, infusions, or tea (all fat-free).
YUMGO VS EGGS
The market faces high volatility, regular disruptions (avian flu), and a transition to cage-free farming (already 73% of supermarkets in France by 2026, which is a good thing, but free-range production is not keeping up).
Yumgo offers a strategic alternative with price and availability stability.
Yumgo has a significantly reduced environmental impact: its production generates fewer CO2 emissions, consumes less water, and reduces pressure on natural resources compared to animal farming.
To date (2026, since 2019), Yumgo has saved 580 tons of CO2 and 65,000m3 of water.
In most cases, no.
Yumgo is designed for direct integration into your existing recipes
It is generally not necessary to modify your preparation steps.
The most complicated recipes to succeed with our mixes are choux pastry!

A 100% plant-based adventure
It all starts with a simple but ambitious idea: what if we replaced eggs in recipes?
From this idea, was born the meeting in 2019 between Anne Vincent and Rodolphe Landemaine, baker-pastry chef and founder of the Maison Landemaine bakeries and theLand & Monkeys plant-based bakeries.
For them, it is obvious, the mission of Yumgo is?
To offer the first real plant-based solution to replace eggs in recipes.
Created by a chef and for chefs.
For a foolproof , delicious and quality result.
A bakery with a positive impact
Land & Monkeys is the first 100% plant-based bakery with a positive impact, with the mission of bringing plant-based food into everyday life without changing habits.
The story of Land and Monkeys is also the one that inspired the creation of Yumgo, that's how Rodolphe Landemaine came up with the idea. At first, he came up against the main difficulty in developing plant-based recipes: finding a way to replace eggs. That's when Yumgo was born: the first real plant-based solution to replace eggs in recipes.
A responsible bakery and pastry chain
Landemaine House is a Parisian bakery and pastry chain, which advocates the values of French artisanal know-how combined with high-quality products, and which seeks to promote responsible eating.
Maison Landemaine bakeries have called on Yumgo to make some of their recipes plant-based, in order to promote more responsible eating while preserving product quality and traditional know-how.
Recipes revised with Yumgo
Le Jules Verne is one of the most prestigious restaurants nestled in the heart of Paris' most famous monument: the Eiffel Tower. This renowned Michelin-starred establishment has chosen to use Yumgo in its pastry chef Kevin Rabateau's signature dessert: Le Chocolat.
The chef chose to adapt the Chocolat recipe to replace eggs with Yumgo. To support him, our teams simply provided him with the products and their technical sheets, and the chef developed his own plant-based recipe for Le Chocolat.
